The Breastfeeding Initiative of Ulster County (BIUC) is a group of organizations and individuals committed to increasing breastfeeding rates in Ulster County, New York through promotion, protection, and support.
You may be a new mom or mom-to-be looking for information and help with breastfeeding. Or, you may be the husband, partner, grandparent, or friend of a pregnant woman wondering what breastfeeding is all about. Perhaps you’re a parent of a toddler looking to meet other breastfeeding toddlers.
We can help you connect with the many support groups, resources and educational opportunities in Ulster County. We welcome all Hudson Valley families – you don’t have to live in Ulster County to participate!
If you are interested in learning more about the Breastfeeding Initiative of Ulster County, local resources for breastfeeding women, or meeting other people interested in breastfeeding, I would like to invite you to attend our meetings.
We meet the first Monday of every month, 9:30-11 am in the 4th Floor Conference Room (near the blue elevators) at HAHV, Broadway Campus (Kingston Hospital.) Babies and toddlers are always welcome.
I hope that you are able to use the links above to find what you are looking for. If you have any additional questions, feel free to contact BIUC for more information. You can also call or text me with questions about the BIUC. 845-750-4402.
We look forward to being of service to you!
